Receiving and negotiating product requests

National Focal Points can manage the product requests received by their End Users through the “Manage user requests” interface after the log in phase.

This interface presents a table summarising the received requests and a map where their AOIs are presented, in order to support negotiation activities. First of all, the Focal Point can accept or reject some requests, adding a comment if needed.

Moreover, the Focal Point can select one or more requests, display their details clicking on the hyperlink in the Request column, show their Areas of Interest in the map at the bottom of the page and then define a new Area of Interest and start a new GMES ERS activation linked to the selected request.

Some support functionalities are provided for the definition of the Area of Interest: automatic definition of the geometry union, Intersection and bounding box, drawing a new circle, square or free polygon.

Finally, clicking on the “Emergency mapping activation” or “Emergency support mapping activation” the Focal Point will be automatically redirected to the page for the selected Service Request Form submission, that will be prefilled with the information provided in this page.
