Tailoring functionalities are mainly devoted to:

• Change the projection of geodata in a different coordinate reference system
• Change the format and the geodata in a different encoding format (both vector and raster)

NOTE: The tailoring functionalities of the linkER toolbox in the 1.0 release are limited due to unavailability (up to 15/06/2010) of ERS download services. The future version of the linkER toolbox will integrate these procedures using a web interface and web service technology that is described below.

The tailoring functionalities will be activated by the search and view interface. In particular when the “Download” button will be activated (Figure 3-11) a new panel will be activated with the possibility to directly download the product in the desired format and projection (defined in preferences).
