Emergency Mapping is a specific delivery mode of GMES Emergency Response Service standard products. Not all the products can be delivered in this mode, depending on its category.
Emergency response products are delivered in a rush mode, which is called the Emergency Mapping. In this case products are delivered about 8 hours after the service provider receives the satellite images. In case there are no already prepared Geographic Reference products available Rapid Reference products can be created in a rush mode and as Emergency Mapping as well. These products are delivered within 24 hours.
The satellite data reception takes about 24 hours up to 5 days. Specific Request Form and Service Level Specifications (SLS) exist for Emergency Mapping.
